lilly in the rose garden

just realized..

Posted on: February 28, 2013

My wardrobe is so much otome that it can’t easily cross over into gyaru territory witohut major overhall. I adopted a quasi-otome style in my attempts at going more lolita. I still love lolita to pieces, but have accepted that it won’t become a daily thing for me for a long time (silly social norms!!). Gut gyaru….provided i keep the bottoms long enough, I could start wearing that daily. BUT there’s enough difference there that I can’t wear otome and claim to be gyaru. The skirts are too long and some of my cardigans too plain or shapeless. I’m planning on adding lace along the hem of one of my plainer floral dresses. It’s not much, but it’s a start….

Hair growth progress- As of June 2015- I regularly trim my own bangs and they look amazing- choppy and short. The split ends have ruined lives and murdered small children. I haven't had a proper salon cut since July 2013. I might get a trim of 4ish inches by the end of the summer? I'm lazy.
